I mean, spelling bee!


Acrimonious -angry and full of strong feelings and words
                      -pedih, getir
                      -Ex: His parent went through an acrimonious divorce.

Airlift             -an operation to take people,soldiers and food.
                      -pengangkutan udara
                      -Ex: Two casualties were airlifted to safety.

Anticlimax     -less exciting than you had expected 
                       -antiklimaks
                       -Ex: When the exams were over
                              we all had a sense of anticlimax.

Attentive       -watching,listening to or thinking about something carefully
                      -memberi sepenuh perhatian
                      -Ex: The hotel staff were very attentive to our needs.

Austere         -not haing anything that makes your life more comfortable
                      -sgt sederhana, tanpa kemewahan
                      -Ex:The church was austere and simple.

Bleak            - (used about a situation) bad, without much hope.
                      -suram, gelap
                      -Ex: A bleak future for the next generations.

Bossy           -liking to give orders to other people
                      -suka memerintah/ mengarah
                     -Ex:Don't be so bossy! 

Congitation  -thinking deeply about something
                      -memikirkan sesaat dengan mendalam
                      -Ex:He sat silently congitating.

Sorely           -used to emphasize that a feeling such as                                                             
                        dissappointment or need is very strong
                      -sangat-sangat, benar-benar, betul-betul
                      -I for one was sorely dissappointed.
